Deira Tower, Marks Heeley LTD, 1980
Construction of the Deira Tower at Baniyas Square in Dubai began in 1979. The skyscraper, with 29 floors above ground, reaches a height of approximately 443 feet. The early modernist structure, which is composed of concrete, utilizes geometric forms to enhance its exposed façade. While the Deira Tower primarily serves as government offices, it also includes a rotating restaurant on the top floor.
